Tony Jaa,The Rising Action Star
Tony Jaa is one of the most hard hitting martial arts film star to come out of Asia in recent times.
From his action debut in Ong Bak to his follow up sequels and even comedy films. He is definitely a rising star that will surely grow his films list filled with his fight scenes that combines raw power with graceful super agility.
Read on to see this hand selected list of Tony Jaa films.
A Break Neck Chase Scene from the Movie "Ong Bak"
Tony Jaa's Break Out Movie: "Ong Bak"
Nothing can compare with the raw refreshing take on the martial arts action genre from the film Ong Bak. The many sequels do add other elements and deeper stories but in my opinion Tony Jaa's debut action role is still his most memorable one.
Tony strikes the right balance with his amazing bone crunching acrobatic moves and his boyish charm that enhance his one screen charisma.
The creative acrobatic scenes really do rival some of Jackie Chan's best films, which is a tribute to this young warrior's talent and ability. Be prepared to be astonished even as you wince at the impact of the bone jarring fight scenes.
Movie Trailer of Tom Yum Goong
Tom Yum Goong (Asia release) or The Protector (International Release)
Following his success in Ong Bak The Thai Warrior, here's another kick ass take no prisoner movie called The Protector (a.k.a. Tom Yum Goong) from Tony Jaa.
Tony Jaa is especially endearing as the warrior with the heart of gold. He is great as the mild mannered soft spoken young man who is forced to dispatch harsh justice when revered Thai elephants are endangered by a ruthless crime syndicate.
For me this is also one of the most memorable of Tony Jaa Films simply because of the a fantastic and long one take fight scene where Tony Jaa plows through some 50 baddies up a four story structure.

Another Great Fight Scene from Tom Yum Goong (a.k.a. The Protector in the international version)
The Bodyguard
Tony Jaa has great charisma and is a really humble person in real life so I think this movie fits him.
This movie was really funny and I hope Tony Jaa makes more films like this that combines his comedic talent with his ultra sleek moves. There's actually a sequel to this called The Body 2 but in my opinion it is not as funny as the first one.
